We will miss u Auntie Lil. U and Uncle Roy were like 2nd parents to my wife Dee. She spent many a summer at your cottage with plenty of stories of the fun and mischief her, Julie, Leanne, Denis , Richard and all the other cottage kids got into. Wonders how u all survived unscathed from al those trike accidents. Well except for Julie and her donut seat. Thank u for being a loving Aunt to my wife. We got engaged at your cottage and when my parents bought the place across the road , you guys welcomed them in with open arms and along with Uncle George showed them all the Buffalo Point ropes. Stories of u 4 having suppers together and dad and Roy watching wrestling or the gambling trips to Warroad warms my heart. When my dad passed, I always felt assured my mom was safe with you just across the road. During our last visit you recalled watching her as she picked up all leaves and branches that fell overnight...every morning. Thank you for being a dear friend to my mom. And to all of us. You welcomed everyone with open arms and a loving heart. We will always remember your hearty laughter and your raspy voice. Your great stories. Your baking and Your strong will. Thank you for being the person God intended all of us to become. Keep a watchful eye over us all. We love u and will always remember u. - Posted by: Manny Fran (Inlaw) on: Jul 24, 2020
