Our family really liked Jerry .He made our mom a cane out of wood.He organized the tree banding on the street. We loved his dogs,.Our mom bought dog biscuits for them and had many visits with Jerry and his dogs. One year I was at the Icelantic Parade in Gimli. We saw Jerry marching in the parade with the Shriners. - Posted by: Frances + Family (neighbour) on: Jul 30, 2020

When Jerry started his practice in Kenora, he gave discounts to medical personnel and so he became my dentist. Later he looked after my husband and our children. Our boys would walk past Jerry’s dental office and would plead, “Can we go and see Dr. Yitman?” They couldn’t pronounce the letter “L”. Rest in piece dear friend of 64 years. You will be missed. Jerry was a wonderful and kind neighbour and friend. He was instrumental in organizing the annual tree banding on our block for many years. He was funny and wise and loved dogs. I will remember him walking his beloved Cassie and Sammy before that. He will be greatly missed by his friends and neighbours. Our sincere condolences to his family. I met Jerry 13 years ago when he was walking his beloved Cassie. I had just lost my 14 year old Tammy, and we bonded over our shared love of animals. Over the years, we became dear friends. He was a gracious, kind man. I will miss him dearly. - Posted by: Shelley Lindquist (friend) on: Jul 25, 2020
