LAWRENCE (BRIAN) HAVELOCK
Brian was born November 21, 1944, to Ronald and Aileen Havelock in Winnipeg, MB. He was predeceased by two infant brothers and more recently by his sister, Helena Havelock. He is survived by his wife Jeanette Havelock, son Jon Havelock (Candace) and daughter Jill Havelock (Curtis Chody); six grandchildren, who were so loved by their grandpa, will miss him. He leaves his brother Frank in Winnipeg. Brian will be remembered by his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Shirley and Larry Brown; his niece Erin Palazzi, and his nephew Greg Brown.
He was an avid runner who participated in the Manitoba Marathon. As his running days waned he continued to attend a gym several times a week, cycled and walked. Until December 2019 he was still walking 5K a day. He loved Chinese food, A & W Burgers and McDonald's iced tea.
Brian and Jeanette moved to Chilliwack six years ago to enjoy the milder climate in their retirement.
Cremation has taken place and as Brian wished, no services will be held.
Thank you to the Chilliwack General Hospital and the Heritage Village Nursing Home for their care and comfort during Brian's last weeks.

I worked with Jeanette & Shirley at VIA Rail. Because VIA is a big family, I was lucky to meet both of their husbands. Rod & I send our heartfelt condolences to everyone. - Posted by: Christine Ward (Co-worker Of Jeanette & Shirley) on: Aug 01, 2020
