ROBERT JOSEPH OMER DESROCHERS
He was predeceased by his dad Bertrand, and his mom Bertha (nee Fontaine); also by his mother-in-law Anne.
Bob leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife, Violet of 37 years; his children, Derrick, Colin and Steven (Kathy), and much beloved granddaughters, Calum, Izabella, and Jaymie. Also mourning his loss are his brother Raymond (Pauline); his sister Ivy - Claire (Tony), and sister-in-law Yvonne, as well as numerous nephews, nieces and countless friends.
Bob was born in St. Boniface on November 19, 1947 and grew up in the St. Boniface area. Throughout Bob's lifetime he made numerous friends while working for the Royal Bank and Investors Group. Bob was involved in many different sports - too many to mention, but his greatest passions were golf and the Montreal Canadiens!
In accordance with Bob's wishes, cremation has taken place and due to Covid-19, a private family service will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob's memory to Manitoba Underdogs Rescue or a charity of your choice.

Our thoughts our with Vi and the family. No one could scramble like Bob on the golf course and we all donated to his retirement. Full of life and a can do attitude including his help in my wine making adventures. A welcoming host along with Vi at Granite Hills made the day special. Enjoyed our last game together at the Ridge. My sincere condolences to Violet and entire family. Although I knew Bob for only a brief time as a co-worker at Quarry Oaks golf course, I quickly had a liking to Bob. I was fortunate to have had a few golf games with Bob. I admired his nice swing and ball flight. Great knowing you Bob even if only for a short period of time. Rest in peace my friend.
