Alberta was born January 7, 1943. She was a very compassionate, dedicated and outgoing person.

She will be sadly missed by her family; Lawrence, Rennae, Sherri and Randy (Collete). She has twelve nephews and nieces and grand-nephews and nieces.
Our family and friends would like to send many thanks to all of our extended family and friends for all of their support. As well, to the medical support staff at the Concordia Hospital.

Albert’s was my neighbor and a dear friend. We spent a fair bit of time together as we would walk our dogs unusually twice a day. We would go out for dinner quite often and enjoy back yard fires. What a giving caring person Alberta was. Always thinking of others. She was such a kind person whom I miss so much as I am sure a lot of other people do also. RIP my friend. - Posted by: SANDRA JANET COLLES (Friend) on: Feb 14, 2024

When I was a young girl in Pinawa, visiting Alberta with my mom was one of my favourite things! She always had toys and colouring books for us. She was so sweet and kind; she made me special. They used to come out to our cottage at times and that was even better because we'd have more time with her. She and my dad (who worked with Russ) kept in touch once in awhile over the years and I always enjoyed hearing how she was. I ran into her in an elevator about 20 years ago; I sure would have loved to have had a chance for a proper catch up with her in recent years. My sincerest condolences to the family. - Posted by: Kelly (Friend ) on: Oct 12, 2021

Alberta and family grew up just down the road from us. I spoke with her in March and learned of her cancer and treatments. I know she was awarded for her volunteer work. She was invited for lunch with some of us from the Hill but she had promised to volunteer that day even though she was taking treatment. I remember her kind and caring ways. Her Mom and our Mom were great friends. She always asked about the others in our family. RIP Alberta. - Posted by: Gladys Nielsen (Friend) on: Sep 06, 2020

Please accept my deepest condolences. Many a Christmas Eve was spent with Alberta, enjoying a wonderful meal prepared by our hosts Sissel and Ernie followed by a card game. Always a fun evening sharing good food, fellowship with friends and many laughs. Rest in peace Alberta. Natale - Posted by: Natalie Denesovych (friend) on: Sep 06, 2020
