GEORGES IGNACE CARRIERE
He was predeceased by his loving wife Jeannine and daughter Carole.
He will be missed by his seven children, Yvette (Brian McVicar), Maurice (Colette), Diane (Guy Dupuis), Doris (Phil Martin), René (Diane), Cécile, Guy (Lyette); his 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and his brother and sisters; as well as his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
He worked hard primarily as a dairy and grain farmer, but also owned a poultry business. He enjoyed playing games, fishing, travelling, curling, golfing, hunting, sledding, reading and making people laugh.
Dad will be laid to rest next to Mom in the Otterburne cemetery. A private family graveside memorial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the St. Pierre Hospital Foundation.
A special thanks to the Repos Joly staff for the excellent care provided for our father in the past few years.
