Mom's mind, amazing memory and quick wit were sharp right to the very end. She often spoke fondly of her life growing up in the Great Depression, working at the Royal Alexandra Hotel, and her travels, especially to Clear Lake, BC and Hawaii. She had an intense passion for her family, nature, the outdoors, gardening, cooking, baking and took great pride in the home she created.
Mom will be remembered and was immensely proud of her children, John (Ruth), Donna (Ken), Michael, Darlene (Mike), Greg, Margaret (Terry) and Edward (Debbie). She'll be cherished by her grandchildren, Paul, Sean, Kristen, Chanelle, Anthony, Justin, Lauren, Sarah, Nicholas, Jordan, Bradley and Claire; great-grandchildren, Andrew, Nika, Kaelen, Harmony, Zakkary and Matlen; and great-great-grandchild Juliana
Corae was born June 17, 1926, and was predeceased by her father Harry; mother Maria; husband John Korpesho; and brothers, Metro, Steve, Mike, John and Pete.
A private family ceremony will take place. If friends so desire, please consider donating to Riverview Palliative Care Unit.

I fondly remember visiting Auntie Helen's home when I was a child. She always offered a warm welcome. I remember my Cousins and Auntie's Pekinese dogs.
