FISCHER: J. Douglas Fischer, beloved husband, dear father and grandfather,passed away in Brandon on Tuesday, July 20, 2010. Doug is survived by his wife, Eleanor and children: Gary (Kathy), Gordon (Keri), Neil (Colette), Donna (Larry); his grandchildren, Chad, Traci, Kirsty, Alec, Shantel, Hunter and great-grandson, Riley. He also leaves his brother, Robert (Shirley), sister, Helen (Bill Watson) and sister-in-law, Shirley (Ron Kinney). The Ceremony to Celebrate Doug's Life will be held at Central United Church, 327-8th Street on Friday, July 23, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. Laird Russell-Yearwood will officiate. Friends who wish may make a donation in memory of Doug to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, #3, 824-18th Street, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 5B7.
