McLEOD: Richard G. (Dick) of Manitowaning, Ontario suddenly passed away at the Sudbury Regional Hospital, Sudbury, Ontario on April 6, 2011. Dick was born and raised in Brandon on January 6, 1945 to Norman and Ruth McLeod. He started his career in the grocery business at the North Hill IGA, Brandon, than moved to Winnipeg for a short time before moving to Ear Falls, then Red Lake, Ontario where he owned & operated the Red Lake IGA for many years. After selling the business he moved to Hillsdale, Ont. for a short time, before moving to Manitowaning, Ont., where he purchased another grocery store, where he lived & worked until his untimely passing. Dick was predeceased by his parents, Norman & Ruth, as well as a daughter Tammy and a granddaughter Darcie. Dick is survived by his wife Cathy, son Todd (Kim), daughter Traci and grandchildren Kari Lynn, Tyler, Brandon and Jeremy. He is also survived by his step-children, Robert, Tara, Jessica and their families, as well as his loving sister Sharon (Dave) Willingham of Winnipeg and their sons Shaun and Chad. Memorial tributes may be made to the heart & stroke foundation. Arrangements by Bourcier Funeral Home, Espanola, Ontario.
