DEMAS: Victoria Elizabeth. “Hapan Wazi Win” Born March 16, 1940 on the Oak River Reserve, passed away December 17, 2012 at the Dakota Oyate Lodge. Mom leaves to mourn her children; Richard, Greg (Tannis), Candace (Craig), Penny and Murphy. 17 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Mom is also survived by her brothers, Karl (Freda) Essie, Raymond White and Frank (Esther) Hapa; sisters’ Winona White, Flora (Ron) Kequahtooway, Frances Boyd, Merle Hapa and Gwen Hapa. A traditional wake will be held on Friday, December 21, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. at the Sioux Valley Veterans Memorial Hall. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Edmund Jordan officiating. Interment will take place at the Sioux Valley Catholic Cemetery.
