LANG: It is with sadness that the family of Mary Madeline Lang of Brandon announce her passing on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at the Valleyview Care Centre. at the age of 103. Born in Souris on August 9, 1910 Mary’s priorities were her family and her church. She was the organist at Bethel Christian Assembly and Calvary Temple for many years and was a lifetime member of Gideons. Mary is survived by daughters Reta (Kenneth) Paddock and Madeline (Gary) Ferrel, five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Clarence and four siblings. A celebration of Mary’s life will be held Monday, December 23, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Temple, 620 34th Street, Brandon. Pastor Gary Jennings will officiate. Interment will take place at Brandon Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations in memory of Mary may be made to The Gideons, 501 Imperial Road North, Guelph, ON N1H 7A2.
