FRANKLIN: The passing of Garth A. Franklin occurred in Arizona, the land that he loved, on December 19, 2013. He was born in the Carnegie district and attended Powerville School. Surviving are two daughters Sandra and Wendy and their families of Alberta. Also surviving is his sister Mona and several niece and nephews. Rest in Peace
