FEHR: Valine Letitia, January 29, 1947 – January 26, 2014. Just days shy of her 67th birthday, Valine Letitia Fehr passed away peacefully with her children by her side. Mom was a happy go lucky woman, and a very hard worker. She was quick to lend a hand to family and friends whenever they needed it, and never asked for anything in return. She loved to spend time outdoors especially in her flower beds and in her garden. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she liked to brag somewhat about them whenever she could. Mom’s husband and best friend Rick passed away earlier this month, and it was more than she could bare. It seemed as though she didn’t want to be without him and now they are together again. Mom leaves to mourn her children, Donna Bellow (Tim), Kevin Bartram (Donna), grandchildren Megan Bellow (James), Zachary Bartram, and Madison Bartram. She also leaves behind Rick’s family Ken Fehr (Judith), Tom Fehr (Phyllis), and Dan Fehr (Marlo), as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. At mom’s request, there will be no service but rather a celebration with family and friends at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Valine may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 415 - 1st Street, Brandon, Manitoba R7A 2W8 or to the Manitoba Lung Association, 8 – 940 Princess Avenue, Brandon, Manitoba R7A 0P6. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.memorieschapel.com. Arrangements with Memories Chapel & Pre-Planning Centre, 204-727-0330.
