DAVIS: Florence Mae Davis passed on at Rideau Park in Brandon. Florence was born in Moorepark on August 2, 1919 and passed on August 17, 2014. Florence led a full life and leaves a daughter Marjorie Maxwell, daughters-in-law Beth Davis and Margaret Schamp and many wonderful grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great- great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, who will miss her dearly. Florence was predeceased by two sons, Ralph William Davis and David Vyse Davis and a daughter Margaret Christine Campbell. Florence enjoyed many years of employment at the Brandon Mental Hospital. After retirement she had more time to enjoy traveling with her great circle of friends and they traveled to Japan, Hawaii, Cuba and other exciting destinations. She enjoyed gardening, baking, needle work and especially spending time with family and friends. The family greatly appreciate the wonderful care she received at Rideau Park where Florence was able to maintain her independence. Donations in memory of Florence can be of choice, flowers gratefully declined. Funeral service at Brockie Donovan Chapel, Thursday, August 21 at 1 p.m.
