ELLCHUK: Sophie Ellchuk of Sandy Lake, Manitoba passed away on Monday, September 4,2017 at the Minnedosa Health Centre at the age of 86 years. Sophie is survived by her sons: Wayne of Brandon, Bill (Val) of Calgary, seven grandchildren and sister Anne Appelt of Brandon. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Nicholas Orthodox Church (North Hall), Sandy Lake, Manitoba with Fr. Gregory Scratch officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
