RAMONA RIVARD

Sept. 17, 1928-June 19, 2020

Ramona Rivard, age 91, of Monominto, MB, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 19, 2020.

She is survived by her son Garth, daughter Melody (Philip) and two grandsons, Corey (Eliza) and Brock.

She was predeceased by her husband Arthur Rivard.

She was born and grew up in Monominto, where she continued to live and raised her family.

In the early years, she worked in the St Boniface Hospital and then in the sewing factory in Steinbach.

Ramona loved her animals and could be found most days sitting outside feeding her rabbits and the deer who wandered into the yard.

She enjoyed sewing patchwork quilts for her family and friends, or just quietly working on a jigsaw puzzle.

She looked forward to daily phone calls and visits from her friends and neighbors. Her door was always open, and the coffee was on.

We miss you, but know you are fine.

You have walked on ahead of us,

but we will be together again in time.

Special thanks to the Southern Health homecare team who worked hard to keep Mom comfortable and at home.

Cremation has taken place.
