SUSAN HILDEBRANDT

(nee Friesen)

At home, in the early hours of Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019, Mother left us to join her husband, Jake, in her 86th year.

She leaves to cherish her memory her four daughters, three sons, their spouses, her nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and her two sisters.

With her strong work ethic, Mother took great pride in her family, her excellent cooking and in her many years of work at the Vita Care Home.

She also took much pleasure and pride in the large vegetable gardens and vibrant flower gardens that she and our father tended for many years.

Mother was a strong, beautiful woman with her own brand of humor, sharp wit and keen judge of character.

She always was most comfortable at home and for the past couple of years she had been very content in her well-deserved, big, warm house.

Mother was and always will be our rock. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by every member of her large family.

Services will be held at Stuartburn Sommerfeld Mennonite Church, PR 201, on Monday, Dec. 2 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
