LOUIS PELLAND
September 8, 1944 - April 19, 2016
Louis Pelland, age 71, of Ste. Anne, MB., passed away after a courageous battle with colon cancer, on April 19, 2016, at DeSalaberry District Health Centre, Palliative Care Unit, St. Pierre, MB.
He is survived by: one daughter Charlene; son Marcel (Carol); two grandchildren Sara and Logan; one brother and six sisters.
He was predeceased by mother Yvonne and father Joseph Pelland.
Louis was born on September 8, 1944 and raised in Ste. Anne. He worked for 50 years until his retirement.
His hobbies included nature, wildlife, grass cutting, watching movies and time with family and friends.
Louis was a warm and very hard working man. He loved walks in the woods, enjoyed BBQs and drinks with the family and had a wonderful sense of humor.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church, 162 Central Ave, Ste. Anne. An Ash Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
