Mrs. Ruby Victoria Thiessen, late of Abbotsford, BC, passed away on May 21, 2015 at the age of 82 at Christine Morrison Hospice.
She is survived by her husband, Jac; children, Rose Yurkiw, Dan Thiessen, Elaine (Paul) McKee, and Ron Thiessen; grandchildren, Terra (Chris) Harel, Daniel (Jen) Thiessen, Angela Yurkiw; and great grandchildren, Christina and Tamra Harel; sisters, Nellie Isaac, and Lydia Thiessen; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents and several siblings. Ruby’s family was her greatest passion. She enjoyed talking on the phone, playing scrabble, keeping up with the latest news and taking road trips with her husband.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 11:00 am at Henderson’s Funeral Home, 34537 Marshall Road, Abbotsford, BC, with Pastor Lyle Magnus officiating.
