DENIS POIRON
February 2, 1943 - October 4, 2020
He leaves to mourn his wife of 54 years, Jeannine, his three children, Gilles (Kim), Louise (Philippe) and Marc, and his four grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother Ferdinand, two sisters, Aurélie Savard and Gilberte Tourond (Adrien), and two sisters-in-law, Yvette Poiron and Madeleine Poiron.
Denis was predeceased by two brothers, Lucien and Raymond, one sister Irene Gagnon, and his two brothers-in-law, Mathias Gagnon and Wilfrid Savard.
Denis was born and raised in Florzé, Manitoba. Denis and Jeannine lived in Poplar Bay for the last 37 years.
He was a devoted husband and father and his strong faith carried him through many obstacles in life.
We wish to thank Dr. Michel Bruneau and all the home care workers for their kindness, compassion and care.
A private Funeral Mass will be celebrated and interment will follow at the Lac du Bonnet Cemetery.
