Alice Dandenault, 81, from Windsor Park, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 19, 2020, at St. Boniface Hospital with her daughter by her side.
She was the daughter of the late Stella and Henri Pinsonneault from Ste. Agathe, MB. She was married to Gilbert (Peewee) Dandenault who predeceased her in 2013.
Left to mourn are her three children: Guy and Michelle from St. Boniface, Brigitte (Richard La Pierre) from Moncton, NB, and four grandchildren, Kyra, Noah, Ethan and Aidan. She also leaves to mourn her three sisters, one remaining brother, four sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews, and extended family members and friends.
Alice moved to the city and worked at MTS as a Telephone Operator and eventually worked as a Teacher/Administrative Assistant at Marion School until she retired. Alice was an excellent seamstress and was the neighbourhood hairdresser. She loved to garden and maintained beautifully manicured flower beds. She also spent many hours assembling both the Pinsonneault and Dandenault family trees, including pictures, for future generations to cherish.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Boniface Hospital for the excellent care provided to our mother.
As per her wishes, no funeral service will be held but a private family gathering will take place at a later date due to the current Covid-19 pandemic.
