It is with deep regret we announce the death of Norman Soucy who passed away peacefully on November 2, 2020. Norman was born in Winnipeg on September 18, 1926, and proudly served on HMS Chippawa in the Second World War.
He was predeceased by his loving wife Audrey Soucy, where they shared 50 years of blissful marriage, memories, and laughter. Norman was also predeceased by sons, Glenn Soucy, Wayne Soucy and Keith Dunstan. Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • I grew up on Belmont Avenue in Winnipeg where the Soucy's were our next door neighbors. Norm was a lovely man who always had a minute for a kid like me. My father Ralph who is 96, was saddened to hear of Norm's passing and asked me to send his best wishes to the family. - Posted by: Bruce Hardy (neighbor) on: Apr 20, 2021

  • It is during times of great loss that we definitely realize how limiting words can be and how special our friends truly are. We hope you hear the words we cannot speak, for words can do no justice to the heartache you and your family have suffered. We ask that you share your memories of Norman with us. Terry McBride and Zoey. Love - Posted by: Terry McBride (Friend) on: Nov 17, 2020

  • When I first met Norm in 1969 I worked at Arthur C Weeks. One of the products we handled was Amtico tile, the company Norm represented. Norm told me two things that I will always remember. 1. Never lie to anyone - it's easier to remember the truth. 2. Norm took me to the driving range to teach me how to golf. After going on a "real" golf course , I duffed a drive and was totally frustrated - Norm said - " I can tell you what you did wrong" - He offered his advice. " You are standing too close to the ball after you hit it" RIP Norm. - Posted by: Ted + Rilla Darragh (Friend) on: Nov 16, 2020

  • We will dearly miss our friend Norman. We send our heartfelt condolences to his family. He treasured all his children and grandchildren and spoke so very fondly of them. - Posted by: Mari-Jean and Herb Nachtigall (Friends) on: Nov 14, 2020
