Dr.Shawn, Shelan, Breck and Grandchildren! Cynthia and I extend our condolences and deepest sympathy on the passing of your father, Vern. Vern was a true, loyal, and sincere friend ever since I met him in Edmonton, where we were in the Stainless Steel Cookware Business for a short while, but our close friendship has lasted-at last count---over 63---years. We partied and drank together, and Vern was the most gracious host to me in Montreal (Pierrefonds), Ingleside and such a great host in Saskatoon. While we share our sorrow with you, the family, we know that Vern is assured of a seat in heaven with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We will miss Vern very much. We ask God to keep you strong.
