JAMES BRIAN STEWART

James Brian Stewart (Jim), aged 66, died peacefully, surrounded by immediate family, at Selkirk Regional Health Centre on November 27, 2020, after complications related to gallbladder cancer. Jim was honoured to be provided the opportunity to dictate the way he left this earth to continue his spiritual journey. He had a strong Christian faith. Jim was residing in Stonewall, Manitoba at the time of his passing.
Jim is survived by his parents: Patricia and Brian (Lillianne), and four younger brothers: Michael, Garry, David (Ian) and Greg. Jim is also survived by Debbie, the mother of his three loving children: Sean (Meghan), Melanie and Jennifer. Jim was blessed to be known as "Grampy" to his three grandchildren: Jada, Carter and Katie. Jim will also stay in the memories of his extended family and friends forever.
Jim was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on February 16, 1954. He graduated from Westwood Collegiate and went on to work in the construction industry while raising a family. Jim enjoyed playing hockey in his youth, going on fishing trips with friends, breakfasts with the family, vacationing in Palm Springs, and cheering on his favourite sports teams.
