June 28, 1962 – December 12, 2020

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our family patriarch, our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Robert Boudreau. With his wife holding him, Robert passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 12, 2020, at the age of 58.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Amanda, son Bradley, daughter Crystal (Gordie), his beautiful grandchildren, Adam, Thomas, Dylan and Evangeline, along with many close friends and family.
Robert truly lived life to the fullest through its simple pleasures; spending time with his family and friends, listening to his favourite country music in the backyard, watching hockey with his son, BBQs in the summertime, facetiming with his daughter and grandchildren and playing cribbage with his "chi femme" (little wife). Robert also enjoyed playing golf and going for breakfast with his co-workers. Robert was a remarkable and loving father who always let his children know they could talk to him about anything, he would always listen – always be there. Crystal and Bradley were his greatest accomplishments in life and he was so very proud of them both. Robert's grandchildren (his babies) brought joy, laughter and happiness into his heart and he treasured the times spent with them.
Robert had the amazing gift of reaching and helping people in the most caring, patient and positive way. He was a gentle and kind soul who believed there was good in all things no matter how challenging they seemed. We will always remember his beautiful, amazing and wonderful smile – it warmed our hearts and touched our souls. Robert's undying love for his wife, children and grandchildren will be cherished and held in our hearts always and forever.
A Celebration of Life for Robert will be held at a later date.
Robert believed that every child deserves a wonderful and happy Christmas. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Christmas Cheer Board or to the Salvation Army's Toy Mountain Drive.

  • I realize this condolence is late, however I just found out that Robert passed away in Dec/2020. I knew Robert in high school in St. Laurent and although we never hung around, I can remember anytime we passed in school he always had a smile and would say hi in passing. Then in later years I was bridesmaid for Robert & Amanda. A beautiful wedding and a beautiful couple they were. Robert character never changed as the years passed which is no surprise that he was cherished & love by all. So sorry for your loss, hugs & condolences Amanda & family. Love Wendy ,Curtis & Stewart. - Posted by: Wendy Calvert (Cousin ) on: Sep 20, 2021

  • We worked with Robert at the Legislative Building and he was one of our favourites!! When he told us he was retiring, we were both happy and sad. We were happy for him and sad for us. Robert always took the time to get to know everyone in the building and always had a smile on his face. Robert, you were a part of our work family and we miss you. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family at this sad time. Minister Fielding, Luc, Madhur, Erika, Hazel & Christie - Posted by: Minister of Finance Office (work family) on: Dec 21, 2020
