Aline will be lovingly remembered by her children, Gilbert (Gaby), Louise (Regent), Robert (Marcelle), Gerald (Diane), Elaine (Donat) and Mariette (Norman); as well as 20 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Aline also leaves behind her brothers, Henri, Luc, Real (Eva), Raymond and Alfred (Suzanne).
She was predeceased by her husband John; her parents, Antoine and Leona; her brothers, Samuel, Coco, Fernand and Jean; and sisters-in-law, Irène, Bernadette, Céline and Marguerite.
Maman was the best person ever. She grew up with nine brothers and was almost like their second mother. She was a loving and supportive wife for our papa John.
Maman was our perfect mother showering us with love, patience, and tenderness. She was always there for us and never complained. She also taught us about unconditional love.
Family was an important part of Maman's life and her grandchildren were special. They always enjoyed seeing Memere and eating her homemade cookies. Maman also enjoyed gardening, sewing, baking, and knitting. (She knitted mittens for charity until a few months ago.)
After Papa retired from farming, they took time to travel. Maman enjoyed meeting new people. She moved to the Manoir, then the Chalet, and finally to the Repos Jolys in St. Pierre Jolys. She enjoyed the various activities at the three different locations but BINGO was her favourite. She had quite a stash of chocolate bars that she won. She played BINGO until a few weeks ago.
A big thank you to the staff at Repos Jolys. All of you made her stay special. She enjoyed every aspect of her time there - the care, the activities and the delicious meals.
Repose toi Maman, Memere, Aline.
Due to Covid restrictions a funeral service has been celebrated with immediate family only.

Condolences & Memories (3 entries)
- Posted by: George & Denise Perron (Connaissance) on: Feb 27, 2021
