Hospitality is what comes to mind when I think of Mrs. Sabo! I am so thankful to have known her and to be welcomed in her home growing up. Her smile warmed your heart and her laugh was infectious! She wanted us all to be happy, healthy and good. Thank you Sylvia for sharing your Momma with all of us! Love and hugs to you all!! Megrendülve, fájó szívvel emlékezünk Verára, régi jó barátunkra. Megtestesítője volt a szeretetnek, áldozatkészségnek. A jó Isten vigyázza örök álmát, és enyhítse szeretteinek mélységes fájdalmát. Králik család - Posted by: Králik család (Barátok) on: Apr 17, 2021
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Veronika. Her and my mom (Loana) were very good friends for a long time and she was the most kind hearted and loving woman! I remember the family dinners that Veronika would cook for our families and all the time our families spent together talking and laughing and just enjoying each others company. She will be greatly missed. My condolences goes out to Veronika's family and my prayers are with you all. - Posted by: Tammy Resler (family friend) on: Apr 16, 2021
Sylvia’s mom from the first time I met her as a young girl welcomed me into their home with open arms. She was my second mama growing up spending all my free time at their house on Lipton street. She was a kind loving lady and always wanted to make sure you were well fed when you were there. Always there to give a wonderful hug and some words of wisdom. I’m so happy you were a part of my life. I will miss her dearly and hold onto all the wonderful memories. My heartfelt condolences to Sylvia and the rest of the family. Take good care of each other ❤️ - Posted by: Jenn Benson (Friend ) on: Apr 15, 2021
Mama Sabo was a part of my life for most of it. She always had the biggest heart. Her hugs and smiles were genuine. She made everyone around her feel so special. She truly made me feel like another of her daughters. I know she made everyone feel that way, but she truly had that love for all she met. No matter how much time passed, both her and Frank always had those familiar smiles, and arms opened with love. My deepest condolences to the family. She was an amazing woman, who will be deeply missed by all that knew her. Rest In Peace, mamma. Love u xo - Posted by: Kay (Family friend) on: Apr 14, 2021

I met Mrs. Sabo when I was just a teenager. She was one of the kindest moms I had ever met & would always listen to our dramatic stories of life in junior high. She always made sure we had food to eat & laughter amongst us. Such a beautiful smile and such a giving lady. My thoughts go out to her entire family but especially to my dear friend Sylvia, I am so sorry for your loss and thank you for introducing all of your “west end girls” to your amazing Mama! - Posted by: Jocelyne Hebert (Friend) on: Apr 14, 2021
I met Veronica at Misericordia Hospital in 1980. I worked in Cafeteria and she was HCA. She would come and have lunch and we met there. Laugh, joke and enjoy short stories. May you rest in peace dear lady. - Posted by: Gloria Nagy (friend at Misericordia Health Care Center) on: Apr 14, 2021
