KATHY GAIL SEREDIUK
(nee SAMBORSKI)
She was predeceased by her daughter Kerri, grandson Cody, mother Helen, father Walter, and brother Rick.
Kathy was born at Vita, Manitoba on May 30, 1956. She grew up in Roseau River until she moved to Winnipeg in 1974. She worked at the T. Eaton Company until she became a stay-at-home mom to her only child Kerri. Upon returning to the workforce, she was employed by Vickar Chevrolet for over 20 years until her death. The Vickar community became an important part of her extended family.
Kathy was a kind and caring person who put the needs of others ahead of her own. She was involved with numerous charities and fundraisers. Her daughter and grandsons were her greatest joy and she loved them dearly. They always did everything together as a family. She enjoyed going to the beach, playing bingo and travelling.
Kathy leaves to mourn her dear grandson Brody, her sisters, Elaine (Bob), Marilyn (Richard), Sandy (Corey), and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the medical staff at St. Boniface Hospital Heart Unit. A special thanks to Donna Savory for the care and concern she gave Kathy in her final days. Thanks are also extended to Orest and Marleen Serediuk for their help with Brody.
Due to Covid-19, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
Rest in peace Kathy.
You will be deeply missed.

Kathy, I am so grateful to have met you. You were an amazing person and I still can’t believe that you are gone. I miss you. I think of you all of the time. I wish I could have done more to help you. Kathy you will and are dearly missed. I am so saddened by your passing and know how difficult life may have been the last few years with the loss you suffered. I first met this family when I worked at Holy Cross school. I had the pleasure of getting to know Cody & loved a delightful child. I think of Kerri as a wonderful Mum and I know that she was brought up by a good Mother.
