DENNIS MICHAEL SAMUEL BARRY
TRUBYK
Dennis' specialty was making friends. You could place Dennis anywhere in the world and he would find a friend, young or old. He was a proud member and past president of West St. Paul Curling Club. An avid golfer and Montreal Canadiens fan (which we forgave him for). He was also known as Mr. Fix-it - he completed multiple renovations in every home he ever lived in, as well as in his daughter's home in Winnipeg. Dennis enjoyed travelling and being at home surrounded by his family.
He leaves behind his wife, two daughters and four grandchildren.
A virtual service of remembrance will be held at Windsor Chapel through a zoom link.
Donations can be made to Cancer Care Canada.

Sandy, Breean, Brittny and family - Our family sends all of you our love and support through this difficult time. We have lost one great brother-in-law and uncle. You were all I could ask for in a brother-in-law, when you came into our family 43 years ago. All the surgeries along with pain you went through, you showed all of us how one can be so courageous and determined to live and never give in with a long battle of cancer. Dennis was amazing and incredible fighter, and if love alone could have saved you, you never would have passed. In our hearts you hold a place no one else can fill. All your pain is gone now and your at rest, we will miss you terribly. Always forever love to Dennis ❤️❤️ Bill, Cheryl, Bryn, Branden - Posted by: Cheryl Porter (Sister) on: May 10, 2021

Larry and I are so sorry for the loss of a good husband, father and grandfather. The first time Larry and I met Sandy and Dennis was at a Halloween part we hosted in 1980. Dennis showed up in an over six foot bunny costume. He was quite the sight! He was a good sport and always had a great sense of humor. We have been friends ever since. He will be missed by us and by many. Love to the family - Posted by: Helga Halischuk (Friend) on: May 08, 2021

As a very close friend of Dennis' sister-in-law Cheryl, I remember when Sandy started dating him. Dennis survived the Clubb family initiation and became a very loved family member. He was always available to help Cheryl fix her car or drive us somewhere. He will be dearly missed. My sincere condolences to all the family.
