John was an avid sports fan, he coached his son's soccer team for many years and brought them to a provincial championship. He never missed one of his son's hockey games or his daughter's swim meets.
After retiring John and Lisa spent a lot of time enjoying their cottage at Patricia Beach. It was touching to see how John and Lisa's love for each other remained as strong as the day they married.
He will be sadly missed but we have many happy memories.

John was a terrific individual, a real gentleman. His love of his Family and the Game of Soccer was evident throughout his life. John and I were involved in Soccer and we would Referee Soccer games especially Tournaments. We had a long standing respect for the Game as well as to each other. His accent was so pleasant that I just loved our lengthy conversations. He will be missed. R.I.P. John. - Posted by: John Wawszko (Friend and fellow Soccer Coach and referee) on: May 12, 2021
