DIANE CAROL EGGERTSON
Diane leaves behind her daughter Christie Poitras (Dave), son Robert Lemke, granddaughters, Kirsten Ellison (Kevin), and Ashley Gregorashuk, great-grandchildren, Ada Ellison (4 1/2 years), and Blake (15 months), whom she absolutely adored, brother Richard Fortier (Cheryl), nephew Michael Parker (Kirsten) and various friends and coworkers. She had recently found some half siblings which she was very excited about.
Predeceased are her mother Theury Eggertson, father Frank Kennedy, her sister Austa Eggertson, brothers, Erlinger Eggertson and Gunnar Eggertson, niece Kerri Parker and niece Maya Fortier.
She worked as a property manager for over 30 years with Manitoba Housing Authority. Diane loved to go to bingo on occasion and watching the Jets games, but most of all she just loved spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren.
A very special thank you to all the ICU doctors and nurses who showed amazing compassion and health care. We cannot thank you enough. She was truly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life and Internment to follow at a later date when we can all get together again.

Dear Christie and Robbie, I am so sorry to hear about Diane’s death. I had no idea she was ill with COVID. What a terrible loss. I had exchanged messages on Facebook with her a few months ago and I know how proud and excited she was about all of you and the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. I have some pictures of her when she was young that I would be happy to share with you if you would like to get in touch. Again, I am so sorry. I have good memories of time with her at Gimli at Asta’s cottage. Laura - Posted by: Laura Eggertson (Niece) on: Jun 20, 2021
