LISA MESMAN HILL
1964 - 2021
Lisa touched the hearts and lives of everyone she met throughout her all too short life! She has left her loving mark on friends from Canada, the USA, France, Japan, South America and Australia. She loved life and fought cancer tooth and nail for three and a half years before succumbing - and that with her ever-present electric smile and positive attitude.
The best tribute we can make to lovely Lisa would be to support Ovarian Cancer Research and to love one another unconditionally.

Oh, how tragic for you Leslie, Monique and David and extended family members. I am so sorry to hear of Lisa's passing. I know we have not kept in contact since Les and I retired, but I often think of those happy days of teaching at Oakenwald School. May the cherished memories of past happier days help sustain each of you in the future. With prayers and best wishes, M-J - Posted by: Morna-June (M-J) Morrow (Long time friend having taught music at Oakenwald School) on: Jul 03, 2021

I went to school with Lisa from grades 7 through 12 at St. Mary's Academy. She was extremely bright, multi-talented and most importantly during those teen years a lot of fun. I can still hear her great belly laugh. She has been taken far too soon from her family, friends and all those whose lives she touched. Her fighting spirit will live on in the hearts and on the minds of many. You can be sure life in Heaven just got a lot more interesting! Blessings and prayers to all her family. Rest in peace dear Lisa. Madeleine Frost (nee: Brock) - Class of '82 - Posted by: Madeleine Frost (St. Mary's Academy former classmate) on: Jul 03, 2021
