JOSEPH JEAN FELIX (JOHN) FISETTE
May 23, 1935 - August 1, 2020
He was predeceased by sister Sally, brother Roger and son John. Left to mourn his loss are his wife Heather, daughters, Lori (Tony), Nadine and Dana (Garry), and sons, Peter (Jacqueline) and Greg (Lori), 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, brothers, Stan (Irene), Louis (Darlene) and Al (Fern), and sisters, Marie, Helen, Dianne, Linda (John), and Louise (Gerald).
John was a born salesman. He joked that he would sell vacuum cleaners to farmers with no hydro yet so they would be ready when it came! John worked for K-Mart for years, opening new stores all across Canada. He was still scouring the want ads into his 80s. "There is work out there if you just look," he'd tell the kids. He came a long way from being the alligator boy in the circus in La Broquerie, MB to the life he created for his family! His legacy is definitely his work ethic.
John would want you to raise a Bud for him and share some good memories and laughs.
John is deeply missed by all his family and many friends.
Due to COVID delays, John will be laid to rest in Stonewall, MB on May 28, 2022, with a Celebration of Life following in Winnipeg, MB.
We loved you for all your life and we will miss you for the rest of ours.

We said goodbye to this man a year ago, today. John, Dad, Papa, I miss you so much. There is such a hole in my heart. You, more than any other loss, have taught me that I need to love completely, live completely, and TELL people how much I care for them while they are with us. So many things I should have said, that I wish I said in that final five minutes we were together before you were taken from us and locked up behind COVID-restricted doors. I love you, miss you, and think of you every day. You were a wonderful Dad and taught me so much. You will never be forgotten and will always be in my heart. ❤️❤️🩹 xxxooo - Posted by: Dana Steinthorson (Daughter) on: Aug 01, 2021
