EDMUND ZABORNIAK
Edmund was predeceased by his wife of 70 years, Stella, two brothers, Casey and Johny, and sister Stella. He is survived by his daughter Judy (Mike), son Jim (Pat); grandchildren, Kim (Jeff), Jennifer and Matthew (Kate); great-grandchildren, Domenic, James, Lucas, Julia and Joseph, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Edmund was born in Cooks Creek, MB on April 16, 1925, the second of four children. Edmund met the love of his life, Stella, in 1947 at Winnipeg Beach and were married on October 8, 1948. He worked for Somerville Belkin Group (formerly known as Continental Can Company) for 25+ years and loved his job as a pressman working on the printing presses. He was a dedicated father and grandfather who loved to spend time with his family. Edmund and Stella loved to travel, and over the years visited the US, Cuba and Mexico. Edmund enjoyed spending time outdoors and gardening.
Many thanks to the staff at Concordia Place for their devotion and compassionate care of Edmund over the course of his stay.
In keeping with Edmund's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held.
