WILLIAM PUPEZA
September 15, 1919 – July 30, 2021

Bill passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness, at his home at the Cardinal Ambrozic Houses of Providence in Toronto.
Born and raised in Rosa, Manitoba, he and his family farmed the land that his parents established the family homestead on until eventually moving to Toronto, where he worked in the autobody field. Bill was an avid outdoorsman, who often travelled to Northern Ontario to fish, hunt and camp. He also had a lifelong love of baseball, and played for Rosa in the Roseau River Valley Baseball League.
Predeceased by siblings, Peter (Anne) Pupeza, Mary (Steve) Smook, Joe Pupeza and Agnes (John) Solaryk. He is survived by his niece Deborah (John Seagram) Solaryk, and nephews, Allan (Rose) Solaryk and Michael (Nancy) Pupeza.
Our beloved "Uncle Bill" was, as they say, "the salt of the earth". He embodied the very best values of strength in character, dependability, strong family ties and integrity, and he was a strong support to his extended family.
We extend our heartfelt and deep gratitude to the wonderful staff at the Houses of Providence, who provided compassionate and respectful care for the over 10 years.
A private family funeral services will be held on August 7, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.
