It is with tears streaming down my cheeks that I write this... We will truly miss you, Bill. Though you lived in Winnipeg your heart was in Poplarfield. This community has benefitted greatly from your time, knowledge, kindness and generosity. From spearheading the project to create signs for all the pioneer school sites, helping with Home coming reunions, sitting on the Poplarfield Devlopment Board beautifying our Park, through the creation of the Pioneer memorial wall, helping with the King Buck Contest at the end of hunting season, taking care of the High Plains Cemetary year after year and helping the many neighbours with their furnace and air conditioning needs including a couple start-up companies in Arborg. On a personal note, Tom and I will miss your visits, your council, talking politics and the great many laughs we have had over the past 20 years. The best yet was the machine you made to degas Tom's wine a couple years ago--Ingenious. To Luba, David and Dianna, he always spoke of you with pride and love. We will have a toast to you in the shop in a bit. Farewell, Bill. We will never forget you. - Posted by: Rozanne and Tom Nevakshonoff (Friend and Neighbour in Poplarfield) on: Aug 12, 2021
