Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • Thinking of Anne always brings a smile to my face. She was always rushing somewhere (late) and always had a smile. Our family has known Anne and her family since approx 1977 when we began attending Charleswood Gospel Temple on Cathcart St in Chlswd. She is now rejoicing in heaven with so many that have gone before her. Our deepest condolences to her family. - Posted by: Corinne Robinson (friend) on: Aug 31, 2021

  • Mrs. Waschuk was my Grade 5 teacher at Loundoun School. I can picture her so clearly as she looked then! She was so nice and soft-spoken. I don't ever remember her raising her voice. May she rest in peace. - Posted by: Judy Irving (Hourd) (Former student) on: Aug 26, 2021

  • I was also a student at “little” London School. I refer to it as little because it was just a one room school house until it became a two room school. Mrs Waschuk was my maybe Gr. Five teacher. I so remember her fondly as one of my most favourite teachers. Always so kind, polite & very neatly dressed. She encouraged us all to want to learn with her gentle nature. Mrs. Waschuk was an Angel on earth do she will truly be one in heaven. Another one to look over us all! Rest in Prace! - Posted by: June Francis (Waters) (Former student) on: Aug 25, 2021

  • My condolences to the family. Anne was a treasure and must be enjoying heaven like no other. I couldn’t help but chuckle when it was mentioned that she was always late. I have memories of that happening, but she always got her stuff done. God be with all of you her children and grandchildren. - Posted by: Eileen Struss (Sunday school teacher igrade three where she was superintendent.) on: Aug 25, 2021

  • Mrs. Waschuk, (Anne) was my teacher. We were her first teaching assignment for after she graduated. (Loudoun School). She was my teacher, Sunday school teacher and finally a very dear friend. It was because of Anne’s deep love for her Lord that I became a Christian and still am today. I think of her often, because of her and her late husband Steve, my life was a whole lot better and I shall always love her for that. - Posted by: Linda Kitchen (Former Student) on: Aug 24, 2021
