1935 - 2021
Raymond will be missed by his longtime partner Doris Neyeldi; his four children, Raymond Paul Marion, Nicole (Barry) Squires, Annette (Richard) Dandonneau, and Suzanne Marion, along with his grandchildren, Crystal Neil, Christine (Chris), Chantal, and Michael (Tyra) Squires, and Rachelle and Alex Dandonneau; and his six great-grandchildren. He will also be missed by Doris' sons, Mitch (Shauna) and Michael (Fran) along with numerous nephews and nieces. He will also be missed by his close family friend Yvonne Laurencelle.
Raymond was predeceased by the mother of his four children, Lorraine Dumas, and his brothers, Guy (Germaine), Rosario, Marc, and George.
He is survived by his brothers, Paul, and Roland (Darlene); his sister Marie-Jeanne Marion, and his sisters-in-law, Carrie (Marc), Lee (George) and Yvonne (Rosario).
Raymond or Ray as he was often called, was born on November 8, 1935, in Saint Boniface, a community which he grew up in and loved dearly. Ray was a Plumber/ Pipefitter for more than 30 years, and was a proud member of Local 254. While he was known for being a hard worker, he also loved to laugh and make jokes with friends and family.
The family would also like to thank the staff of Holy Family Home, St. Mary's Wing, 2CN, for the care you provided our Dad during his stay.
A private family service will be held at a later date.

To the Marion family: Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of Ray. Ray and I go back at least 50 years as this goes back before he left the Union to become a Plumbing Contractor. I along with some others travelled with Ray on a travel card and worked on many construction jobs as Pipefitters and we had a lot of good times in the process. Ray was a great plumber and pipefitter and a hard worker and you always knew where he stood on any subject as he would let you let you very quickly. When he came back into Local 254 30 years ago and he continued to work union jobs he was a Shop steward on many of them. Ray would always stick up for anyone he thought was being treated unfairly and no problem letting you know his thoughts. He was very proud that his son Raymond decided to become a Plumber and a member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union Local 254. I will always have good memories of Ray and when he gets to Heaven, whoever is looking after his Union Brothers there had better be treating them good or hell going to break loose? Sincere condolences to Doris and the Marion family on the lost of your loved one. The fond memories I have of Raymond are his attributes of honesty, work ethics and friendly disposition.
