Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • Many years and miles have passed between each of us but we are all family. My Dad was Bill Adams an older brother to Beverly. He passed in 1984 and so many offered comforting words to us. I want to pay the same respect to all Beverly’s family. So sorry to learn of Auntie Bev’s passing. I remember Auntie Bev for her beautiful skin and smile. This gorgeous picture shows both of those flawless attributes perfectly.. I offer my heartfelt condolences to all Auntie Bev’s family. May God be with each of you. • Auntie Bev, As a little girl you were the aunt who I loved spending time with. I have so many memories some more distinct than others. I was there when Grant swallowed a quarter and he had to be rushed to the hospital. I remember us being at an “all you can eat” restaurant when your water broke and you went into labour. I had to call a taxi which was the first time I ever used a pay phone. I was so scared but it all worked out. You took me to the farm in St. Laurent which was the first time I saw a live cow. I was terrified but you assured me all was well. You let me have my first cup of coffee (not sure how much coffee was actually In it.) You taught me how to play go fish and the first time I got to stay up all night was with you. I never liked being away from Mom but was always okay if I was with you. Life passes and time gets away. I wish we could have spent more time together in latter years but I know you knew you were my favourite Aunt and always will be. I am so sad to say good-bye. You will always hold a special place in my heart. Love Dodo - Posted by: Donna (Niece) on: Oct 11, 2021
