I am deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Anna. As a new immigrant to Canada several years ago, Anna (or Oma as she insisted I call her), welcomed me with open arms, and treated me with dignity and respect. Her warmth and kindness will always be remembered with fondness. May she Rest In Peace wrapped in the loving arms of God. To the Backe family please know you are in my thoughts as you go through this very difficult time. Love Baz R. - Posted by: Baz R (Friend ) on: Oct 21, 2021

Anna and I were co-workers at the above mentioned. Anna was a lovely and cheerful lady and it was a pleasure to have known her. My deepest condolences to her family on her passing. I would like to share a quote with Anna's family Anna has not died, but gone away, to a better place, free of pain and suffering. We will see her again someday. Rest in peace Anna. You are loved and will be missed. - Posted by: Patricia Homenick (Co-worker at department of Finance, Mb Govt) on: Oct 19, 2021

I met Anna when we were both instructors at Herzing Career College. She was instructing keypunch skills in the early days of computer data entry. Anna was always a positive, welcoming and friendly woman. My condolences to her family. - Posted by: Rae Anne Paxton (Former co-worker) on: Oct 19, 2021
