EMELIA PARASHIN (MILLIE)
Date of Passing: Oct 21, 2021Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or Memory
Millie is now reunited in heaven with husband Paul; parents, Thomas and Mary; sisters, Julia, Rosemary, Ollie and Mary; and daughter-in-law Carol. Millie is lovingly remembered by her sister Virginia; children, Robert and Kathy; granddaughters, Alana (Ryan), Lorna, and Sara (Brett); and great- grandchildren, Scarlett, Marek, Juliet, and Mayla.
Millie was born and raised in Winnipeg. She lived a full life, always learning new things as she kept up with the times. She spent many years as a legal secretary and office manager steering the family business. Millie loved to cook, was an excellent seamstress, enjoyed time on the golf course, gardening, and a good game of chess. Family was everything to Millie and she showed her love in everything she did. Although she has passed, our memories of her will stay warm in our hearts forever.
We love you Granny.

Condolences & Memories (4 entries)
Mrs. Parashin was the loveliest woman. I knew her best when I worked for the family law firm as a student and through a long friendship with Robert. She was beautiful in every way--kind, gentle, fun-loving and generous. I have always thought of her as a woman to emulate and am lucky to have known her. Rest in peace, dear lady. - Posted by: Astrid Ahlgren (friend) on: Nov 22, 2021
Kathy, Robert and families, I am so sorry to hear of your sad loss of your Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. Auntie Millie was an absolutely lovely, intelligent, beautiful and talented lady. My Mother greatly admired her and they were good friends for many, many years. I will always remember how kind she was to me and my sister Donna when we were children and would visit her - Posted by: Judy Watts (nee: Carter) (Goddaughter) on: Oct 31, 2021
So sorry to hear of my Aunt Millie's passing. She was my favourite aunt. I'll always remember her with that beautiful smile on her face. She also had such a great sense of humour. After all of these years I can still remember visiting Aunt Millie and Uncle Paul on Boxing Day for their family Christmas celebration when I was a little boy. She always had 2 presents for me. One that my mom liked and a toy that I loved. She was a beautiful person inside and out. She'll always be remembered. Deepest sympathy to my cousins Robert and Kathy and their families. - Posted by: Gregory Aboud (Nephew) on: Oct 28, 2021
