JANINA (JEAN) MULTAN
1929 – 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother and Babcia on November 23, 2021 at the Health Sciences Center.
Janina was predeceased by her parents, Franciszek and Anna Tymczyszyn and her grandmother Tekla Zwarycz. She will be missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters, Angela (Matt) and Lee (Art); grandchildren, Courtney (Bryan), Michelle (Matt), Matthew (Cassandra), Nicole and Sean as well as great-granddaughter Aria Jean.
Janina came to Canada in 1951 and settled in the north end of Winnipeg with her family. She was a long time parishioner at Holy Ghost Church and a faithful member of the CWL. Babcia was famous for cooking her Polish specialties and her delicious coffee cake. If Babcia wasn't at church, you could find her making cherished memories with her grandchildren and great-granddaughter, whom she adored.
Due to COVID19 restrictions, a private funeral service will be held on Monday, November 29, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. Livestreaming will be available at www.holyghost.ca. Interment will take place at Holy Ghost Cemetery.
If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church.

Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • Dearest Angie, Lee and family. I am so sorry to just learn of your mom's and babcia's passing. My heart goes out to you and your entire family. I had the pleasure of knowing your mom since high school on Boyd Street and valued the deep and sincere friendship our mom's enjoyed throughout so many years. They are once again united in God's tender and loving care. Please accept my very sincere condolences for your family's loss. "In every heart she touched, in every life she changed, in every thought she inspired, her love lives on". You are in my thoughts and prayers. Warmest Blessings to all. - Posted by: Krystyna Swain (Kolacz) (Friend) on: Dec 21, 2021
