I’ve not a particular memory to share, but I always loved Billy Powell:) He was one of the original ‘cars guys’ and my personal favourite. Always kind, with a sparkle in his eye, a helpful hand and filled with knowledge to share. He a lovely man and I’m lucky to have crossed paths with him. All sorts of love to Lorraine and family XO. I’m putting some money in the tin for gas. - Posted by: Lori Ducharme (daughter of a pal) on: Dec 21, 2021

I have known Bill since we were kids on Hill Street. Even though he was 3 years younger than I; we often played together. Time passed and we ran in to each other here and there and we always enjoyed talking about our favourite subjects, airplanes and cars. Bill was a great guy and we will all miss him. I was saddened to hear that we lost Bill. Good guy! I always enjoyed talking to him at various Hot Rod events. There was ALWAYS a warm smile and a welcoming handshake when we met. I wish to send my support to his family. As per my family tradition, and show of respect, I will raise a wee dram in his memory. I can assure you, he will be missed. - Posted by: ROB ROSE (FRIEND) on: Dec 18, 2021

Very sorry for your loss. Bill was a true gentleman. always friendly, a pleasure to be around. I will miss talking airplanes and cars with him. He was very knowledgeable on those topics. He is a great loss to the MSRA as he volunteered so many times at events. Rest in peace Bill. - Posted by: joy and jim hunter (car club) on: Dec 18, 2021
