1926 - 2022

Our dear Auntie Claire passed away early in the morning on January 1, 2022, at the age of 95.
She was predeceased by her mother Clara, father Edmund and sisters, Juliette (Frank) and Solange. Claire is survived by her nephews, Greg (Wanda) and James, her niece Brigitte (Felix), grandnephews, Timothy (James) and Sam, grandnieces, Elysa, Brandy (Scott) and Tina (Bob), as well as several great-grandnieces and nephews.
Claire was born in St. Boniface and lived in Winnipeg all her life. She had a long career working in administration for the Manitoba Telephone System. She travelled extensively in Canada and the United States and enjoyed knitting, needlework and reading.
Claire loved to spend time with her family and enjoyed Sunday dinners and celebrations with her niece and nephews. She took pleasure in watching the kids play games and could be seen laughing with them. She was a devoted sister to Juliette, always there to support her.
Sincere thanks to the team at the Simkin Centre who cared for Claire for the past four years. She was treated with dignity and respect.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Rosary Parish.
A Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Parish, 510 River Avenue, Winnipeg. Proof of vaccination is required to attend.

We will miss you Auntie Claire!
Rest in Peace.
