WILLIAM SAMUEL (BILL) ARNOLD
Peacefully in his home, Bill Arnold passed away on December 28, 2021 at the age of 80 years with his wife Janet by his side.
Bill was born to Dr. William James and Mary Arnold in Baldur, Manitoba and grew up in the Woodhaven area of Winnipeg. Together since childhood, Bill married the "girl next door", Janet Brathwaite who affectionately called him "Sam". They had recently celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary. Caring father to Mary-Alice (Patrick Keir) of Ottawa, ON, Andrew (deceased) of Winnipeg, MB and proud grandfather to Philip, Cameron, Olivia, Aidan and Rebecca.
A proud Winnipegger who graduated from the University of Manitoba, Bill's career with the Ford Motor Company took his family to Ontario and the Maritimes before finally returning to Winnipeg in the 1980's where he took ownership of Stadium Ford.
The family would like to extend thanks to Krista Summers for all her care and support in recent months. A private celebration of life will take place later in 2022.
Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada.
