RONALD ALBERT PORTER
It is with great sadness, the family announces the passing of Ronald on January 8, 2022, at the age of 71 in the City of Portage la Prairie.
He is survived by his brother Charles (Wendy), numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Ronald was predeceased by his parents, Kenneth and Helga Porter and a nephew Stuart.
Ronald was a long-term resident at the Manitoba Development Centre where he received excellent care. The Centre provided a first-class safe environment where all his needs were met. We have the utmost respect and admiration for all the staff members we met during the years and offer our sincere thanks.
Blessed are the caregivers.
Cremation has taken place and a small family gathering will take place at a later date.

Charles and Wendy, I came across the obituary for Ronny in the Saturday paper- my condolences. I immediately thought of the time when Aunt Helga brought Ronny for a visit when we were in MacGregor. He was such a strong and handsome young man and a bit of a handful. He wanted to put the dishes away before we had our meal. I'm glad to hear that he was well cared for at the Manitoba Development Centre.
