1923 - 2021

Peacefully on Christmas Day Lillian passed away at Concordia Personal Care Home.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Victor in 2005, her brothers, Chris and Frank Heintz, sisters, Caroline Tonn and Katherine Kunzelman.
Lil was born in Glenella, Manitoba to Charles and Christine Heintz December 2, 1923.
She left the farm at an early age and worked for T. Eaton Co. for many years, receiving a diamond ring for 25 years of faithful service.
After retirement, Lil and Vic spent many winters in Texas, and enjoyed summers at the cottage at Grand Marais.
Lil was a great cook, and enjoyed sharing her meals with family and friends. Her pug dog Sandy was her joy and delight.
Lil loved the Lord Jesus and her church, Lutheran Church of Good Shepherd in Transcona, where she was involved in numerous areas, especially the L.W.M.L. and singing in choir.
A special thank you to Pastor Harold Borchardt for his love, care and concern for her and a special thank you to Gerald Grienke for all the many times he visited her as a volunteer.
The family would like to thank all the staff at Concordia Personal Care Home for the good care she received over the past three years.
A memorial service is being planned for a later date.
