JUDY LAMB
It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Judy Lamb (Sempovitch) on January 16, 2022, at the age of 72, at her residence in White Rock, BC.
Left to mourn her loss is her mother Stella Sempovitch, her children, Michael (Lauren) Lamb and Corinne (Derek) Mizak and her grandchildren, Stella, Grace, Xavier and Zachary; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Judy was born December 18, 1949 in Selkirk, MB and graduated from the comp in 1967. Judy could be seen in the stands watching many baseball and hockey games as well as dance recitals.
Judy followed her dream and moved to BC where she briefly lived in Ladner and then made her final move to White Rock. Mom was proud to call White Rock her home and will be remembered for her answer when a Manitoban would make the comment, "It always rains there." Mom would smirk and answer, "At least I don't have to shovel rain."
It was fitting for Mom to reside somewhere that has more than two months of summer as she loved her flower pots and plants on her patio. She recently made friends with a local hummingbird who would always find fresh food anytime he visited.
Mom, along with her sister June, will now be resting with their Dad, "Sempy", watching over us and cheering on the grandchildren in anything they do.
A private memorial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, any donations in Judy's name can be made to the MS Society, CancerCare Manitoba or Winnipeg Humane Society. Make a donation to

I was so sorry to hear of Judy's passing. Every year we exchanged Christmas cards. We had such fun when we were kids. We often went to the rides in the corner at Lockport and took the rides that were turning our stomachs and laughed and laughed our heads off. We had sucha good time. I KNOW YOU ARE WITH OUR LORD IN HEAVEN. LOVE - MARYANNE PETERS - Posted by: MARYANNE PETERS (FRIEND) on: Mar 01, 2022

My deepest sympathies on the passing of Judy. I was very fortunate to have known her, and to have her as a friend. Her and I took an Alaska cruise together, what a blast. We often talked about another cruise together, unfortunately we never got to do it. She will be missed. R.I.P. my dear friend. - Posted by: Leona Petersen (friend) on: Feb 13, 2022

I am so sorry to hear about Judy. We usually had a super long catch-up chat on the phone each year in December. This year we did not and I really missed it. We used to walk to school together and we had so much fun. My sincere condolences Michael, Corrine and Mrs Sempovitch. - Posted by: Marion Kjilaas (School friend. ) on: Feb 12, 2022
