Condolences & Memories (13 entries)

  • I am so sorry to hear of Gentleman George's passing. I had the pleasure of working with George in the early 90s as a young helper and apprentice on the pipeline where he was a revered and respected welder. He didn't yell or swear like so many other welders while I was helping and doing my apprenticeship. He was so capable and confident in his quiet respectful way that it made me want to work harder for him. He was a true gentleman and it haven't and never will forget how his character impacted me. Driving around in his classic old white Ford through the countryside were some excellent formative memories. Please accept my most sincere condolences to all who knew and loved Gentleman George. - Posted by: Chris Bonin (Co worker, apprentice) on: Aug 16, 2022
