VICTOR LAMBERT
September 23, 1925 – March 13, 2022

Peacefully, Victor Lambert passed into the arms of the Lord on Sunday, March 13, 2022. Victor was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother.
He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Suzanne, Claude (Cheryl), Guy (Monique), Gisèle (Guy), his daughter-in-law Monique; his grandchildren, Geneviève, Benoît, Daniel, Rémi, Matthew, Alyssa, Chantal, Justin, Jérémie, Janine, Julien, Joël; his great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Paityn, Blake, Emma and Zofie; his brother Ludger; his sisters-in-law, Gisèle and Beverley; and his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Thérèse (née Robitaille), his son Michel, his son-in-law Paul, and siblings.
Dad was born and raised in St. Pierre, MB and eventually moved to Winnipeg where he met and married Mom and worked with much dedication to raise five children. He began his career as a self-employed plumber and was eventually hired at the St. Boniface School Division as a plumber where he retired after 30 plus years of service. Dad's passion was his hobby farms. He loved gardening and tending to numerous farm animals. His last years were spent at Manoir St-Pierre where he continued his love and passion for gardening. It was with great pride and joy that he shared the fruits of his labour with other residents. We will always remember Dad as a happy man with a great sense of humour who loved to make us laugh with his funny stories.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the caring staff at St-Pierre Hospital.
Friends and relatives are invited to celebrate Victor's life by attending a funeral mass which will be held on March 26, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., at Saint-Pierre Parish in St-Pierre-Jolys, Manitoba. Reception to follow at the "Cabane à sucre" Musée St-Pierre-Jolys, 432 Joubert St.
A private family interment of the cremated remains will take place at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens at a later date.

  • Allowing me to join a game of pichenotte at your kitchen table is one of my very early memories. Ending your tall stories to me with a smile, head tilt and twinkle in your eye made a small kid feel welcome. Thank you Uncle Vic. say hello to everyone up there!
